Fresh from her Ugly Betty UK appearance, LA Woman Victoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham has a new short brown hair look.
As Herbal Essences ambassador and Posh’s favourite stylist Ben Cooke explains, "This is a return to form for Victoria as the bob is what she was known for. "But this is more of an updated version of her old Spice Girls look – the style is a lot shorter at the back which is technically correct for a traditional bob. The style slants into the neck and falls longer around the front of the face to follow the jawline. Victoria has a strong jawline and long neck so it looks great."

Corrie's Maria in cake baking shocker
The Mirror today reveals that Samia Smith, who plays raunchy Maria in Corrie, likes nothing better than to stay at home baking cakes, and her 'lemon drizzle cake is to die for'.

Let's hope Liam thinks so!!
Also, a footie shocker, with Harry Redknapp held in the bungs bust. Let's hope it's all smoke without any of that hot stuff, and ol' Harry's back doing his thing soon.

Bacon keeps the Merys conspiracy theory running
It seems that Al 'the pub landlord' Murray has not convinced Richard Bacon about the sincerity of Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews; now being called Merys after appearing so close. Despite Murray's glowing reference for Mark, and Mark having sent Cerys a 'love letter' and Cerys saying she'd like him to fly out, Bacon still considers it to be all about selling the story.
So who will be proved correct: will Merys turn out to be a Pete and Katie, or a Chantelle and Preston? Only time will tell!

England to face Croatia again in World Cup qualifiers
While the News of the World was today full of lurid stories about footballers getting up to mischief before Wednesday's game against Croatia, today's draw has given the England team the opportunity to avenge the defeats suffered in the European qualifiers against the Croats, as they have been drawn together for the World Cup qualifiers. Ukraine are the best of the rest.

Best of Girls Aloud
No disrespect to the other three members, who are also very attractive, but the Sun today features the best of Girls Aloud looking very feline out and about doing some fantastic work in 'injecting some serious glamour into The Red Cross Ball.'

Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews romance staged?
Hot off the press
On this morning's Wright Stuff, Richard Bacon, who is standing in for Matthew Wright, theorised that the Marc Bannerman and Cerys Matthews romance on I'm a Celebrity was staged for magazine deals etc.
However, Al 'the pub landlord' Murray, who is a friend of Bannerman, said that he did not have the cunning or guile to stage such a stunt, and that he was just a nice fool!
So, it looks as if reality television has shown a bit of reality for a change...or has it?
Katie Hopkins was the second celebrity to be voted out last night, and nuff said about her!!

I'm a Celebrity warms up with Mark Bannerman's eviction
In the UK we have a show once a year called I'm a Celebrity, with a host of celebrities surviving in the Aussie jungle. Last night it warmed up with the first eviction: Mark Bannerman, an actor who's most well known for a role in sitcom Eastenders.
Yes, he's kind of like a British Joey (Friends, Joey), but he spoke very well on his eviction, and didn't appear very Joeylike at all. He'll need to be a good talker with his girlfriend, as she witnessed his outrageous flirting with Cerys Matthews (Welsh warbler of Catatonia fame), and will be waiting at home with a rolling pin by all accounts.
You can witness the eviction conversation at http://www.itv.com/Entertainment/reality/iacgmooh/Clips/default.html
and good luck Marc!

Chelsy Davey takes Harry back? Come on England
So Chelsy's taken ol' Harry back by all accounts. Good luck to them I say, although I think they face a load more trials and tribulations before they make it down the aisle. And no sign of Chelsy leaving lovely Leeds as reported in some papers last week, so after all the headlines there seems to be nothing much out of the ordinary going on for the royal couple. c'est la vie, back to Wills' barnet!
England need a point against Croatia tonight, and it seems highly likely to happen, what with Croatia having already qualified and losing to Macedonia on the weekend. But it will be without ol' Becks, who'll be starting on the bench, and Robbo too. McClaren must know what he's doing...? England should return to the form they showed against Israel and Russia at Wembley tonight, and qualify comfortably.

Heather Mills McCartney too much the story
The Wright Stuff this morning chose a newspaper headline stating that HMM had suggested we should drink rat's milk, when what she'd actually said was that drinking cow's milk was as sane as drinking dog, cat or rat's milk.
This is an example of how the media frame quotes out of context, and also that HMM is not going to do much good promoting veganism, as most of the media are just going to use it to frame her as ever more dotty. So, even though her intentions may be worthy, she's not the right person for the job at the moment.
But meat and livestock production is supposed to be the second biggest contributor to climate change, and ahead of all transport.
